An easy meal in less than 30
minutes....
What a way to enjoy during the
weekends...
Serves 4:
Lettuce chopped- 1 cup
tomatoes-2- sliced
cucumber- 1-sliced
cheese- to spread
(You may use cheese sheets too)
Bread- 1 loaf
(You may use a burger too)
Ingridients to make the tikki:
Medium sized Potatoes-2
Finely chopped Palak- 1/2 cup
Boiled Green peas- 1/4 cup
corn flour- 3 tspoons
pepper powder- 1/4 tspoon
garam masala- 1/4 tspoon
salt- 1/4 tspoon
Ghee- 4 tspoons
bread crumbs- 1/2 cup
:: How to make Home made burger/sandwich To make the Aloo palak tikki:
Boil the potatoes and palak.
Drain water and mash the potatoes and
palak.
Add boiled green peas, pepper powder,
corn flour,garam masala and salt.
Mix all the ingridients well.
Make small balls of the dough and flatten
it like a cookie and dip in the bread
crumbs on either side and heat them on a
tava (skillet or a fying pan).
Add a little oil/ghee while you toast.
Toast it on the other side too untill
golden brown.
Take one slice of bread spread cheese/
place the cheese sheet followed by the
tikki, add 3/4 slices of cucumber and
tomato on top of the tikki.
Add some chopped lettuce on top.
Sandwich it with another slice of bread.
(You may like to toast/grill it on either
side or have it as such).
Served best with tomato ketchup and
potato chips.
