| Indian food recipe for safed murgh, yummy! |
:: Ingredients for Safed Murgh Chicken- 500 gms
Onion- One large (Round Slices
cut and untangled)
Ginger paste- 1 TSP
Garlic Paste- 3 TSP
Jeera (Whole)- 1 TSP
Green Chilli - 6 TSP
Yoghart- 100 gms
Cinnamon- 25 gms
Sugar- 1/4 TSP
Salt to taste
Ghee
:: How to make Safed Murgh 1. Marinate the chicken with salt, ginger
paste, garlic paste and yoghart for 6
hours.
2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Put
the cinnamon in the ghee and fry over
high heat for 10 minutes.
3. Put the marinated chicken in the pan
and fry for 10 minutes in low heat
covering the pan.
4. Put the onion and mix well with the
chicken. Again cover and cook in low heat
for 10 minutes.
5. Open the cover of the pan and put
water and continue cooking in low heat
till chicken is cooked.
6. Serve with hot rice.
