:: Ingredients for Palak veg. curry. Palak leaves- one medium bunch
Tur dal -1 cup,
Tomato - 1/2 cup,
Salt-as per taste,
Red chill powder-1 tsp,
garam masala -1 tsp,
raw groundnuts- 1 handfull,
garlic- 2 leaves
coconut- 1 tbs(shreeded)
1/2 inch ginger,
Basan / gram flour-1 tbs ,
Jaggery- 1 tsp,
water- 3 Cups
For tadka-
Mustard-1/2 tsp,
Jeera - 1/2 tsp,
Curry leaves 4-5 in no.
Hing- 1/4 tsp.
Oil- 3 tbs.
:: How to make Palak veg. curry. 1. Wash n cut palak leaves and cook with
tur dal in cooker then mash it and keep
aside.
2. Make a course paste of garlic, ginger,
and coconut.
3. In another vessel put oil and give tadka
of mustard, jeera, hing, and curry leaves
Then add paste of garlic, ginger and
coconut.
4. Then add tomato, stir for 30 sec.
Now its time to add salt, garam masala and
red chill powder.stir and add the cooked
and mashed tur dal with cooked palak
leaves.
5. bring to the boil, till you make smooth
paste of basan/ gram flour in 3 tbs water
and add this into the boiling curry.
6. Finally add jaggery and boil for further
5 min.
The nutritious and healthy
palak veg is ready to serve.
It can be served with both Chapati n rice.
