:: Ingredients for Mutton Tikka
Minced lamb- 1 lbs
Green chilies- 5 (finely chopped)
Dry bread crumbs- 1 1/2 cups
Grated ginger- 1 inch piece
Potatoes- 4 (boiled and mashed)
Medium onions- 2 (finely chopped)
Egg whites- 2 (well beaten)
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep-frying
:: How to make Mutton Tikka
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the ginger,
garlic, green chilies and
onions until the onions are golden brown. Add minced meat
and fry for about10
minutes. Remove from heat.
Then add mashed potatoes and salt to the fried meat
mixture and mix well. Make
small lemons sized balls out of this mixture and dip them
into egg whites. Coat
evenly with the breadcrumbs. Deep-fry this in hot oil.
Serve hot with any ketchup.
