:: Ingredients for spinach (palak) pulav spinach (palak)-1/2 a cup
garlic pase- 1/2 tspoon
clove- 3
bay leaf- 2
basmati rice-1 cup
salt- 1/2 tspoon
oil/butter/ghee- 2 tspoons
water- 2 cups
:: How to make spinach (palak) pulav Serves 2:
A very easy main course that anyone can
make with the least of ingridients.
Soak the basmati for 10 minutes.
Make a paste of spinach,garlic,clove and
salt.
In a rice cooker add 2 tspoons of oil
followed by the bay leaves.
Drain the water from rice and put it in
oil.
Add the spinach paste.
Add 2 cups of water.
Cook untill rice is completely cooked.
Served best with rita.
(Note: The ratio of rice to water should
be 1:2)
