:: Ingredients for Fried Lamb Liver
Lamb liver - 1/2 lb (washed & cut into quarters)
Medium onion- 1 (finely chopped)
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Freshly ground black pepper powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp Green chili- 1 (finely chopped)
Grated ginger- 1/2 inch piece
Crushed Garlic- 2 cloves
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
Lime juice- 3 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Oil- 2 tablespoons
:: How to make Fried Lamb Liver
Mix the red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander
powder and pepper
powder with 2 tablespoons of lime juice. Coat the kidney
pieces evenly with this
spice paste. Let this marinate for an hour.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chopped onions until
soft. Add the ginger-garlic
to it and fry for a minute. Then add the marinated kidneys
with the marinade and
fry for 10 more minutes. Add I more tablespoon of lime
juice. Mix well. Cover and
cook for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
