:: Ingredients for Beetroot Thoran
Beetroot - 2
Small onions - 3-4
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig

:: How to make Beetroot Thoran
Cut beetroot into small peices. Heat 2-3 tsp of oil add
mustard seeds.
When it pops, add some chopped onions then add the
beetroot pieces, salt and
stir. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup of water and heat until the
beetroot is cooked
well.Add 1/2 cup grated coconut and curry leaves and mix
before removing from
stove
