| Indian food recipe for carrot pulihora, yummy! |
:: Ingredients for Carrot Pulihora
Grated carrots- 1 cup
Boiled rice- 2 1/2 cups
Boiled chickpeas- 3 tbsp
Lemon juice
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves- 1-2 sprig
:: How to make Carrot Pulihora
Heat oil in a pan - add urad dal, mustard seeds. as the
mustard seeds splutter -
add chopped ginger and curry leaves - now add boiled
chickpeas and grated
carrot - saute with salt, lemon juice, turmeric for two
minutes mix the above with
boiled rice and serve with yogurt.
