:: Ingredients for Potatoes and Green Beans Masala
Green beans- 1 cup (cut into 1 inch pieces)
Potatoes- 2 cups (peel & cut into cubes)
Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Onion- 1 (chopped)
Tomatoes- 2 (chopped)
Grated ginger- 1 small piece
Crushed garlic- 2 cloves
Green chili- 1 (finely chopped)
Oil- 4 tablespoons
Chopped cilantro (coriander) leaves
:: How to make Potatoes and Green Beans Masala
Heat dalda or oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden
brown and add tomatoes
& fry for few minutes. Then add ginger, garlic, green
chili & fry for few more
minutes. Add beans, potatoes, garam masala, turmeric
powder, red chili powder
and little water. Close the pan. Lower the heat. Stir
occasionally and cook until
the vegetables are done. Garnish with chopped coriander
leaves.
