:: Ingredients for Spinach with Dhal
Spinach
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Toor dhal - 1cup
Urud dhal - 1 tsp
Grated coconut
Red chilli - 1
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
:: How to make Spinach with Dhal
Cut spinach and boil for 5 minutes adding salt and
turmeric powder. Leave aside.
Boil toor dal with turmeric powder.Roast urud dal, grated
coconut, 1 red chili,
and 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds.Add the ground coconut paste
and cooked toordal
to spinach. Bring it to boil.season with spluttered
mustard seeds, and roasted
urud dal. This goes well with rice.
